Welcome to the home of the Wood-Ridge/Moonachie Blue Devils Jr. Football/Cheering program. We are a youth program that is a member of the Meadowlands Football League. We have football and cheerleading teams in four divisions, Flag/Pep Squad (5-6 yr olds), Pee Wee (7-9 yr olds) Junior (10-11 yr olds) and Senior (12-13 yr olds). Got news?  | 2008 Pep Rally |
 As you may have heard, our season opening Pep Rally is scheduled for Friday, September 5th, 2008 @ the 14th Street Sports Complex in Wood-Ridge. We kick off our program at 5:30. All family, friends and fans are invited to attend. Last year’s pep rally was a great time and we look forward to seeing all of you there! (The coaches game, in and of itself, was a sight to see!)
All cheerleaders and football players will be in attendance.
Cheerleaders should dress in their cheering t-shirt and shorts (this may be changed by your cheering head coaches).
Football players should dress in White Jerseys and black shorts.
This includes ALL LEVELS. Flag, PeeWees, Juniors and Seniors.
Coaches: if you have not provided your roster, you need to do so ASAP so we can announce each and every participant!
There will be surprise special guests as well.
See you there!

| Cheering Practice Begins |
|
Cheering Practices for all registered cheerleaders will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m at the Civic Center
Practices will begin this Tuesday and Thursday, July 8th and 10th.
Please be on time and bring sufficient water. Juniors and Seniors please wear bug spray as well.

| Tradition, one step at a time |
 Piecing together a consistent, top-flight football program in this day and age is a 12-month-a-year job. Off-seasons get measured in days and hours instead of months.
And sometimes, especially in the summer, some of the most significant work is done with a pick or shovel or even a pen.
Take, for example, Wood-Ridge. Chris Lange, who wasn't hired as head coach until July, led the Blue Devils to a 6-4 season in which they played consistently outstanding defense and narrowly missed the North 2, Group 1 playoffs.
But this isn't about one good season. It's about consistency, and the Blue Devils already are looking to go even further than X's and O's.

This is a fantastic opportunity for your player to learn from the WRHS Head Football Coach, his Coaching Staff, current and former WRHS Football Players.
Many of the techniques we teach in Junior Football are derived directly from our collaborations with Coach Lange and will be heavily covered at this camp.
